YogaKids is coming to Ahimsa - Oak Park Yoga Kids Classes!

Hey Moms and Dads,

We're so excited to be the new home for YogaKids of Oak Park! Be on the lookout for a beautiful sign in the windows. Yoga Kim (Kim Vulinovic) has been teaching yoga to kids in Oak Park for 10 years and is moving from Oak Park Yoga to our space.

Fall Yoga Class Schedule!

Our new schedule is STILL a work in progress, but we've got most of it figured out. We still need to fill 1 or 2 gaps with fantastic teachers, but it's ready for the most part. Introducing new teachers: Manal Ramadan, Stephanie Kardos, Teresa Heit-Murray, Kim Wade, Muriel Quinn, and Anna Leonard. Introducing new classes: Candlelight Yin/Restorative, Tibetan Heart Yoga, and $5 Community Classes each Saturday from 4-5pm.  Check it out below! Namaste.

The Studio "before"

Check out the studio before we started. Previously, it was Bulldog Crossfit.

Our lease began May 1 and we actually signed the lease that morning at 9am. We weren't worried because we have the best landlord ever - Tai Chi instructor, Paul Channic, who is probably the kindest man in the world. Who has a landlord who is a Tai Chi Instructor? It's really nice.

While my Dad and I were at the Tai Chi Center a couple of doors down my mom was at the "studio." We were only gone for about 10 minutes and...

Q&A - I’m a beginner. What classes would be good for me to take?

I thought I'd answer a question that a few students have asked so far: I'm a beginner. What classes are suitable for me to take are your studio?

At the moment, all of our classes are open level. That means that beginners are welcome and encouraged. A key concept that beginners must know is to practice mindfully.
