Wow, what a week! We've had so many yogis coming in the doors this week after welcoming Christine Cipra and Jackie Huxel from Oak Park Yoga.
Everybody's talking about the change of having Oak Park Yoga closing and having to find a new yoga studio. This can be a huge change for people. It had me thinking this week about how we can rarely go back to the way things were, but must continuously move forward. This can be really hard! Even when we try to go back to an old place, like an old school or place we once vacationed, we find that those places have changed! There have been changes to the building or people running it.
I'm sure you can think of a few examples yourselves.
Even people change. What is a constant? The good thing is that we always have things to ground us through these changes. Our breath will always be with us. We will always have nature, the earth and the sky. I love yoga because it grounds us so we can accept these changes from a more stable place.
