Q&A - I’m a beginner. What classes would be good for me to take?

I thought I'd answer a question that a few students have asked so far: I'm a beginner. What classes are suitable for me to take are your studio?

At the moment, all of our classes are open level. That means that beginners are welcome and encouraged. A key concept that beginners must know is to practice mindfully. What the heck does Ahimsa mean?!

Ahimsa (Ah HIM suh) is a sanskrit word that translates to "non-violence" or "non-harming" in thought and action. It's one of the five yamas, which are morals that yogis follow and it's a way to take yoga off the mat into daily life.

So... is this studio full of pretentious vegetarian/vegan/tree hugging/spider saving hippies? Maybe... but generally, that's not all it's about.

Ahimsa has many meanings. One is kindness in thought and deed. Kindness to everything, living or not. Couldn't we all...
